Add a border to a photo
A white border makes photos stand out on Instagram and gives them a printed-photo feel. Choose the width, color and style.
How to use it
- Choose your photo.
- Set the width and pick the border color.
- Choose “Even” or “Polaroid” and tap “Create image”.
Polaroid style
The polaroid style leaves more room at the bottom, like instant photos: great for adding a date or a message afterwards with add text to photo.

Does the border change my photo?
The photo stays the same and the border is added around it, so the final image is slightly bigger.
What if I want the whole photo in a square?
For that, use fit photo in a square.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your photos never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
