Questions and answers

Can I print it at home?

Yes, on good-quality matte or glossy photo paper. Print the 4 × 6 in sheet at 100% (no “fit to page”) and cut along the lines.

Does it work for online renewal?

Online renewal asks for a digital file: use the digital photo you download here and check the current requirements on travel.state.gov before uploading.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Everything is processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your photos never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
